the grandma start to chant in weird unrecognized language and after a minute a weird azure-white smoke like substance came from the granddaughter's mouth and traveled into the grandmother's mouth.

“Vitali isn’t going to be happy about me missing the chance to get the life-gem. Had it not been for that cop and her Nazi army I would have gotten that stupid thieving cat.”

Cerebella continued to think on what happened, remembering the fight against Ms. Fortune and then Parasoul’s Napalm blast being fired at her which allowed the neko’s escape. She bit down on her lips a little wondering if Vitali would be mad at her for missing her chance, but she still had time. Maybe she could find the girl before the night was done and get the gem from her. Cerebella was pulled from her thoughts as sirens echoed in the background starting to come closer to where she was located.

“Damn it!” Cerebella muttered under her breath and grabbing her head in frustration, as she ran down the block using the giant arms from Vice-Versa to move faster. Running down the block she spotted an alley she could hide in and seeing as how they were catching up to her, this would be the best time to disappear and think of where Ms. Fortune would go. Cerebella ran across the street and flipped over her parasite’s giant arm using her acrobatics to disappear into the darkness just as the cars whipped by.

Cerebella held her breath for a moment before letting it go heavily in a sigh, her head going down, eyes closed as she relaxed.

“That was too close” Cerebella said to herself as she opened her eyes to look out into the street again for any signs of movement.

“I’d say it was” An unfamiliar voice from behind her said coming out from the deeper part of the darker than should be alley.

Cerebella was quick to get defensive, swiftly turning around and jumping back to avoid if whoever this stranger was, had been trying to attack her. She heard a small and quiet chuckle come from the darkness; she peered into it trying to see a shape or form, but failing to see any, when suddenly there she appeared.
